The twenty-seventh Annual Conference on Shock will be held June 5-8, 2004; please join us in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The annual meeting is an excellent opportunity to get updated on the progress and changes in the field of shock research, to renew old acquaintances, and make new ones. Your participation is important. The vitality of the meeting depends on the high quality of submitted work, and on the insight provided by participating scientists. The Shock Society Council, and the Program, Awards/Honor, and Development Committees, with the Shock Meeting Management's efforts are bringing together a scientifically exciting meeting in a beautiful venue in Canada.
The annual meeting of the Shock Society is a multidisciplinary conference that offers the opportunity for formal and informal interactions between clinical scientists and basic scientists involved in the study of the pathophysiology and treatment of sequelae resultant from shock, trauma and sepsis.
