Conference Registration: Registration fees admit members, non-members and students@ to scientific sessions, social functions including the opening reception, coffee breaks and all meals except on the free afternoon (Monday lunch and dinner). Registration as spouse/quest permits a guest or spouse of the participant to attend meal and social functions at cost to the Society. Student registrants must have a department head or research advisor certify student’s eligibility. If registering at the meeting bring a student ID card or letter signed by your department head/advisor.
Meeting Site: Big Sky Resort, Big Sky, Montana, Located 45 miles south of Bozeman, Montana, and 40 miles north of Yellowstone National Park. Convenient accommodations will be offered in the heart of the resort at the Huntley Lodge and Shoshone Condominium Hotel. Additional accommodations are available across the plaza at the Summit Hotel. Travel Arrangements: The Big Sky Resort in Big Sky, Montana is located off US191, 45 miles south of the airport in Bozeman, Montana (BZN). This airport is served by Delta, Northwest and Horizon. Delta & Skywest offer non-stop flights from Salt Lake City; Northwest offers non-stop from Minneapolis; and Horizon offers non-stop service from Seattle.
From the airport at Bozeman, Big Sky is a 45-mile drive through the scenic Gallatin Canyon. Both rental cars and shuttles are available at the airport.
Ground Transportation: Karst Stage, located next to baggage claim in the Ground Transportation area of the airport will offer shuttle service to the hotel. Attendees may make reservations online on the web site http://www.karststage.com/ (select Airport Shuttle) or by calling toll free line (800) 287-4759. E-mail inquiries may be made to airport@karststage.com. Online reservations will be confirmed by e-mail.
A reduced conference rate of $45 per person, round trip, for attendees traveling on 6/6 & 6/7 and/or 6/11 & 6/12 will be offered. Attendees arriving early and/or departing late will receive a reduced fare from regular customer summer rates. Karst accepts MasterCard, Visa, U.S. currency and traveler’s checks.
